Aims and activities of the organisation:

1. To show the capacity of design and diversity to become an engine of social, human and economic development, transforming reality and interactions between human beings towards more inclusive spaces for all, transferring the values of the SDGs of the United Nations.
2. Vertebration and acceleration of the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries in the EU, connecting them to the rest of the sectors to accelerate innovation processes through hybridization and the transfer of design tools to the main productive sectors of the region.
3. To generate a network of design and culture professionals where new visions and effective solutions to the current social challenges can be enlightened from diversity, with special attention to depopulation and the rural world, favoring territorial cohesion.
4. Produce contagion: Promote and contribute to the development of transformational projects in the field of social synchronization, universal accessibility and the integral development of people through culture and design, with the participation of technology, connecting with other sectors to accelerate the processes of innovation and wealth generation.
5. Generate a space of reference for the knowledge of projects and success stories related to the subject, disseminating new methodologies and ways of working.

Divers+s is a network of professionals and companies of Design as a discipline of social transformation for companies, educational centers, administrations and institutions for the construction of a better society: more inclusive, sustainable and beautiful.

This project aims to generate a space for collective creation to provide innovative solutions to the complex problems of our society: depopulation, longevity, mental health, the care society, disability, etc., through design and culture, building a bridge between the world of science and technology and the world of art and culture, to structure and address contemporary challenges from both urban and rural areas.

All people have the same rights in this society and so do people with functional diversity. Divers+s works to facilitate access to culture in an effective way, generating, in this process, innovation and improvements for the cultural sector and society.

We work from the culture of prototyping because we face complex, paradoxical problems, using traditional recipes and society has changed a lot. Working from a laboratory allows us to prototype, to work in heterogeneous contexts providing innovation in each phase. Prototypes generate standards. Prototypes bring us closer to the future.

Prototyping is sketching, exploring what is possible, imagining what is desired, reducing fears, projecting futures, bringing desires to life, finding creative solutions together.
